Natural Undyed
As well as the 4 colours that are available through our belt range we also offer a bespoke option to have any of our belt styles made from Natural Undyed Vegetable Tan Hide. Over the years of wear the Natural Hide will gradually go darker and darker through many shades of brown simply due to Sun light, just the same way as your skin would tan. These very natural bespoke belts are made in exactly the same way as our standard range other than they are finished with a natural leather balm instead of been dyed. To order just choose the colour Natural in the drop down menu, delivery is a bit longer at 8 to 10 working days because we make these completely from start to finish to your order.

How to care for your belt
Your new Carrion Belt is made from the highest quality British and Irish full grain, 100% natural vegetable tanned leather, using traditional techniques and natural finishes to make the most of leather’s distinctive beauty, strength and softness.
The more you wear it, the more your Carrion belt will naturally sculpt itself to your shape, becoming ever more soft and supple.

Every Carrion Belt is naturally handcrafted to wear and age beautifully for a lifetime. To keep your belt in perfect condition, simply rub in a little good quality leather conditioner every now and then, followed by a touch of pure beeswax to seal it. Natural vegetable tanned leather becomes more resilient to water once its worn in, so it’s best to avoid getting your new belt wet just for now. If your belt becomes wet, let it dry naturally to ensure the leather doesn’t crack. Never use a heat source like a radiator or hairdryer.

If you often wear your Carrion belt in extreme weather conditions and expose it to the elements, it’s a good idea to rub in a little good quality water repellent every now and then, such as 100% Neatsfoot Oil. This will protect your belt from the repeated effects of wetting and drying. Remember to always let your belt dry naturally to ensure the leather doesn’t crack. Never use a heat source like a radiator or hairdryer. Please note: your Carrion belt will lose its natural vegetable tanned leather smell and become darker in colour if you apply a product like Neatsfoot Oil.

We hand dye our leather using traditional dyes created especially for vegetable tanned leather. The dye is fully sealed on your Carrion belt but just to be on the safe side, it’s best not to wear it over light coloured clothing until your belt is worn in. Dye transfer is very unlikely to happen because of the way we handcraft our belts, but it is possible that traces of dye could transfer in certain circumstances when your belt is new, for instance, in damp conditions.
Returns Policy
Returns are not always accepted if you have ordered the wrong size or colour, this is due to each belt being made to your requirements from the selections chosen through the website. However, we are always here to help in anyway we can, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Please always keep in mind you are buying a natural product but be assured our belts are hand made to a very high standard and are rigorously examined through the production process and final inspection, and any belt that does not meet our high standards would not be sent out, and when it comes to leather faults these are usually spotted at the beginning of the making process. We are here for our customers through the lifetime of your purchase.
For returns of damages or quality concerns of course we will review on a case-by-case basis, please keep in mind that leather is a natural material like wood for instance and it will have its own natural grain and markings that the animal bore in its life, but not all markings are deemed quality issues, so returns will not always be accepted for this reason.
Please follow our size guide before placing your order. colours vary due to hides, please be aware that each hide dose not dye the same darkness or lightness, but the overall tone of the colour will be the same.
All imagery of our range is an accurate and true representation of what you will receive, each piece of leather is unique and all the images across the website represent an honest reflection of the variety of grain patterns you can expect to receive.
We are an independent handmade specialist and a lot of craftsmanship and thought goes into our product, so please consider your purchase, follow our size guide and if you need a colour swatch please get in touch. Any belts that we agree are returned will need to be in their original condition, without any marks to the leather caused by been put through the buckle and no unnatural marks to the leather caused by knock or impression etc, the belt should be as you received it. Please get in touch with us through our contact page quoting your order number and information about your issue and we will do all we can to resolve it in a speedy manner, we will forward you the returns details where applicable and when we receive your return a refund or exchange will be processed.
